StudySteps began as something we wished we’d had ourselves. Back in our student days, we put in the hours
but often focused on what already felt safe, while weaker areas quietly pulled our grades down. Looking
back, we realised the real challenge wasn’t effort — it was knowing where to aim it.
We also suspected there had to be better ways to learn. And it turned out the research was already there
— decades of studies on confidence, attention, and memory showing how small shifts in approach can unlock
big gains. We’ve gathered some of that research, and built an app that puts it into
practice for everyday studying.
That insight became the foundation for StudySteps. We built this app to help shine a light on blind spots, keep
them visible, and guide students toward the study choices that make the biggest difference. We believe it’s not
about working harder, but working smarter — turning the same dedication into greater progress to give
students the clarity and engagement we wish we’d had.
